From the Official Champion Reveal
Who ever thought a wolf and a sheep could work so well together?! Apparently Riot seems to think so, with the revealing of their newest Jungle Marksman champion, Kindred! Kindred is one champion comprised of two entities, Lamb and Wolf. Some of you are thinking, 'a Marksman Jungler, what was Riot thinking?', and I had slightly similar thoughts as well, but having the immense amount of faith in Riot that I do, I feel pretty reassured that they're going to more than accomplish this odd yet tantalizingly interesting move.
Alright! On to the champion breakdown!
Passive: Mark of the Kindred - Lamb marks an enemy champion for death - anywhere on the map (provided they have vision of that champion) - if Kindred is able to either kill that champion or at the least get an assist, they will then gain a permanent damage boost to their basic attacks. This stacks. Last but not least, Wolf hungers for enemy jungle monsters as well, so feed the beast! A marked champion is visible to all champions.
Q: Dance of Arrows - Kindred dashes a short distance, and then opens fire on three nearby enemies.
W: Wolf's Frenzy
Passive: Kindred will build stacks of Hunter's Vigor the more they move around and once Kindred has reached max stacks, their next basic attack steals a base amount of health from its target.
Active: Wolf splits from Lamb, temporarily creating a large spirit zone around him, and attacking his closest enemy, or whoever Lamb is attacking. While inside Wolf's Frenzy, Dance of Arrows has a greatly reduced cooldown for Lamb.
E: Mounting Dread - Kindred slows an enemy target, and if Kindred is able to successfully land three attacks on their target within the duration, the target takes an amount of max health percent damage.
R: Lamb's Respite - Kindred temporarily creates a large zone at a targeted location. While active, Lamb's Respite prevents ALL units within the zone from dropping below critical levels of health. At the end of the duration, all champions in the zone are healed for a flat amount of health.
Wow! This champion seems to be packed with versatility that will surely be felt when it becomes available! This is a bold move for Riot, introducing a marksman oriented jungle champion, but after checking out these awesome new abilities, I'm feeling pretty confident that Kindred will make a great first and lasting impression on the Fields of Justice! That's all for today, feel free to leave a comment below, stay tuned and as always, Good Luck Have Fun!
